In a rare and captivating appearance, Meghan Markle’s mother, Doria Ragland, dropped by the Kinsey Collection Exhibition at SoFi Stadium alongside her daughter and son-in-law on March 21, 2024.
Doria’s attendance at the art event attracted much attention as she effortlessly combined simplicity with elegance. She dressed in a cream cardigan paired with a long black skirt and styled her hair in a half ponytail.
The exhibition provided a perfect backdrop for Doria, showcasing her engagement with the art on display and interacting with fellow attendees, including Beyonce’s mother, Tina Knowles.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were also in attendance as they celebrated The Kinsey African American Art and History Collection. This extensive art display, one of the largest compilations of African American art, artifacts, and documents, tells a poignant story of Black history, resilience, creativity, and triumph.
Initially debuted during Super Bowl LVI in 2022 at SoFi Stadium at Hollywood Park, the collection was spotlighted again through a partnership between The Archewell Foundation and The Bernard and Shirley Kinsey Foundation for Art and Education.
The evening featured a private tour of the exhibit, attended by industry leaders and special guests, followed by a moderated conversation with Bernard, Shirley, and Khalil Kinsey.
While the Kinsey Collection Exhibition was undoubtedly a significant cultural event, a notable portion of the online community found themselves captivated by Doria’s presence.
