Now that Olivia Rodrigo has wrapped her massive Guts World Tour last week, the singer is opening up about her viralstage fall earlier this month.
The 21-year-old singer was performing during her final show in Melboutrne, Australia at the Rod Laver Arena in mid-October, when she suddenly fell through the stage.

She quickly recovered and went on with the show, though she revealed to Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show Tuesday that she was hospitalized for the incident.
‘And I fell, and I was like all shaken up. And I went to the hospital after. Nothing happened, but they just wanted to make sure I didn’t have a concussion,’ she said.
She also admitted, ‘Watching the video back, it’s pretty terrifying. I’m… I mean, show must go on. That’s showbiz, baby.’

However she admitted, ‘it was actually kind of a beautiful thing, and I’m really happy it happened in hindsight.’
The Filipina singer explained to Fallon, ‘So, I had just been to the Philippines. That was my next stop, Australia, after the Philippines. And I was thinking about my family, and my heritage, and my relatives.’

She revealed that, at the hospital, ‘the nurse was a Filipino man with the same name as my grandpa who just passed away a few months ago.’
‘And so, I was like, “Wow, that was — that was him looking out for me, making sure I didn’t get hurt.” And so, I’m really happy it happened. I think it’s a beautiful story,’ she told Fallon.
She also opened up about how she,’got in trouble with the law for the first time in my life,’ during a tour stop in Canada.
‘So, we were going from Canada to, like, Portland or something. We were at border control. I give them my passport, and they’re like “Okay, whatever,”‘ she began.
‘And they knock on the door, and they’re like, “We need Olivia.” And I’m like, “I just played a a few shows, maybe, like, their daughter wants an autograph,’ she said.
‘And I come out. It’s 3:00 A.M., and I’m delirious. And they take me to a room. And it’s an interrogation room. And there’s, like, a big cop with, like, a gun. And he’s like, “Have you ever been arrested?” And I’m like, “No, I… I haven’t been arrested.” And he’s like, “Are you sure?” And I’m, like, gaslighting myself. I’m like, “Oh, my god, maybe I was, like, arrested and I didn’t know it,’ she said.

‘He scared me. He’s like, “You know, you could go to jail for lying to a a federal officer, like, this… like, this is really bad.” I’m freaking out,’ she admitted.
‘I’m like, “I’m not gonna be let into America. Like, I’m so scared.” I’m, like, having a panic attack. After 30 minutes of interrogation, he looks at me, he goes, “What’s your name?” And I go, “Olivia Rodrigo. Like, R-o-d-r-I-g-o. And he’s like, “Oh, there’s a — there’s a girl who looks just like you that’s your same age that’s been arrested multiple times, and her name’s Olivia Rodriguez,’ she said as the audience laughed.
‘Jimmy, I was pissed. I’m like, “You didn’t look at the name on the thing while you were interrogating me for 30 minutes?”‘ she said.

The Olivia Rodrigo: Guts World Tour concert film debuted on Netflix on Tuesday, filmed from one of her Los Angeles performances.
