A 12-year-old girl named Ansley Burns from South Carolina stunned the judges on *America’s Got Talent* with her powerful cover of an Aretha Franklin classic.

Appearing in a teaser for Tuesday’s episode, the seventh-grader, who regularly sings in her school choir, chose to perform Franklin’s “Think.”

However, partway through her performance, lead judge Simon Cowell stopped her, feeling the backing track didn’t suit her voice.

Simon suggested she try singing the song a cappella instead, which initially made Ansley nervous.

Showing kindness, Simon brought her a cup of water, and with support from the audience and judges, she gathered the courage to sing without music.

Her unaccompanied performance left the judges amazed, with both Julianne Hough and Gabrielle Union standing and clapping in appreciation.

The clip has since gained millions of views on YouTube, with fans praising Ansley’s vocal talent, resilience, and charming personality.

Many viewers agreed that Simon’s decision improved her performance, allowing her voice to truly shine.
