Britney Spears’ ex-husband, Sam Asghari, shocked everyone when he suddenly revealed that he COULD NOT P.O.O.P in the singer’s house without permission while they were still married: “All because of that damn contract…”

Sam Asghari, Britney Spears’ ex-husband, has confirmed that he signed a nondisclosure agreement (NDA) during his seven-year relationship with the pop icon.

The revelation came during his recent appearance on the Viall Files podcast,

where he spoke with host Nick Viall about his marriage and subsequent divorce from Spears.

Hollywood and NDAs: A Common Practice

Asghari, 30, acknowledged that NDAs are a standard practice in the entertainment industry, joking, “You can’t take a poop in Hollywood without having an NDA …

That’s the true part of it.” His lighthearted remark shed light on the level of privacy expected in high-profile relationships, particularly with someone as globally recognized as Spears.

When asked about the reasons behind their split, Asghari admitted that he was unable to disclose many details due to what he referred to as a “gag order.” This restriction, he implied, prevented him from openly discussing aspects of their breakup.

Respecting Privacy Amid Divorce

Despite his legal limitations, Asghari spoke respectfully about his former wife, emphasizing the importance of keeping certain matters private. “When it comes to breakups, splits, divorce, it sucks,” he said.

“I always hated the fact that somebody goes and talks about this and cries and tries to get attention or use that as leverage. It’s my life. I lived it. I experienced it. But I think certain things you talk about in public and certain things you don’t,” Asghari explained.

He further elaborated that, rather than dwelling on the reasons behind the breakup, he preferred to focus on the good times they shared. “I think what matters the most is the time that we spent together, the things that we’ve learned. And that was a big part of my life and her life as well,” he reflected.

Asghari’s Continued Support for Spears

Despite their split, Asghari expressed his ongoing respect for Spears, 43, and indicated that he hoped to reconnect with her in the future. “I’m always gonna have respect for her,” he stated, adding, “I wish her the best.”

His comments align with previous reports regarding his NDA. In June 2024, Page Six revealed that Asghari had signed a nondisclosure agreement years ago, preventing him from sharing specific details about his marriage to the Toxic singer.

However, sources clarified at the time that the NDA did not impose a complete gag order—he was not entirely restricted from speaking about their relationship, but certain subjects remained off-limits.

A Relationship That Began in the Spotlight

Spears and Asghari first crossed paths in October 2016 on the set of her Slumber Party music video, where Asghari played her love interest. Their chemistry quickly translated into real life, and they began dating shortly afterward.

The couple became engaged in September 2021, just before Spears’ 13-year conservatorship was officially terminated. The conservatorship had controlled many aspects
