Sir Elton John is embracing a new chapter in life, focusing on family time and creative ventures after a challenging year, particularly due to vision issues.
In an exclusive interview, the music icon shared his excitement about spending the summer holidays with his husband, David Furnish, and their two sons, Zachary (14) and Elijah (12), at their Windsor home.

David, Elton’s partner of 31 years, expressed their happiness and sense of balance in this phase of life, now that Elton has stepped away from touring. He praised the strong bond their family shares and their joy in enjoying more personal moments together.
In addition to family time, Elton has launched a vibrant new eyewear collection in collaboration with Specsavers. Known for his iconic glasses, the pop legend’s latest designs are inspired by key milestones in his life and career.

Elton revealed that his glasses have always been a form of self-expression and evoke strong personal memories—like the pair he wore at his Glastonbury farewell performance, which he calls a career highlight.
David also shared that a specific triangular frame from the ’90s brings back memories of when they first met, adding emotional significance to the collection. With over 15,000 pairs of glasses in his possession, Elton stores most of them safely, each representing a chapter in his journey.

The Elton John Eyewear Collection is now available online and in Specsavers stores across the UK.
