Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s children, nearly 6-year-old Archie and 3-year-old Lilibet, have made appearances on Meghan’s Instagram here and there. Now, a source is sharing details about their lives in Montecito, California, their parents’ “happy bubble.” The insider told People that “the kids are adorable. They’re incredibly smart, articulate, and fun.”
The family even went on a recent spring break trip to celebrate the successful launches of Meghan’s show, With Love, Meghan, and brand, As Ever. People did not reveal where the vacation took place.
The outlet wrote that Archie and Lili are “the center” of their parents’ world. Even though the family is U.S.-based, Harry is hopeful that his kids can someday “connect with their U.K. roots, experience their heritage, and build relationships with extended family.” Harry and the royal family still have a strained relationship following Harry and Meghan’s exit from their working senior royal family roles in 2020.
The Duke of Sussex has been fighting in U.K. court to be able to pay for police protection when his family visits his homeland. (Prior to stepping back from their royal roles, Meghan and Harry’s police protection was taxpayer-funded.) His family’s safety is paramount to him, a source told the outlet: “He feels very strongly this is something he must fight for.”
Harry spoke to People in the magazine’s issue this week. While he did not discuss his children, he did offer adoring praise of his wife. “I am so happy for my wife and fully support absolutely everything she’s done and continues to do,” he said. “I’m incredibly proud.”
Meghan last shared a photo of their children to her Instagram grid on March 24:
