Fans have enthusiastically welcomed Ainsley Earhardt back to television screens as the Fox News host returned to the morning show on Monday.
Earhardt made her comeback to the Fox and Friends program after taking a brief hiatus following the holiday weekend. She announced her return with a post on Instagram. During her absence, fellow Fox News host and former White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany stepped in to fill her role.
On July 4, McEnany tweeted, “Tomorrow, Thursday, and Friday, I will be filling in on @foxandfriends, @FoxNews for my amazing friend and colleague @ainsleyearhardt. Join us from 6am-9am ET and Happy Fourth of July to all!”
As she resumed her duties alongside Steve Doocy and Brian Kilmeade, Earhardt featured Piers Morgan as a guest on Monday’s show. She expressed her gratitude on Instagram, sharing a photo of herself with a cricket bat alongside her co-hosts and Morgan, stating, “Big thank you to our good friend @piersmorgan for teaching us some cricket!”
The comment section of her post was filled with messages from fans, many of whom expressed their joy at her return. One fan wrote, “Welcome back @aearhardt,” while another commented, “Great show this morning.” A third added, “Great Group.”
Earhardt has been with Fox News since 2007, contributing to various panels and programs, including Hannity. She became a co-host of Fox and Friends in 2016, having previously co-hosted Fox and Friends Weekend, All-American New Year’s Eve, and America’s News Headquarters.
