Rita Wilson and Tom Hanks are celebrating another year of marriage!

To mark their 36th wedding anniversary on April 30, both Wilson, 67, and Hanks, also 67, shared romantic photos and sweet messages about their relationship to Instagram.

Hanks captioned a photo of the sun-kissed couple with, “1988? April 30th? Big Doings. The Wilson & Hanks couple became Wife & Husband. 36 years! Nothing but Love since… Hanx.”

Wilson, meanwhile, shared a carousel of photos, showing the couple posing together in a variety of scenarios, including on a ski trip, at Egypt’s Great Sphinx of Giza and in a recording studio. In one photo Wilson posted, Hanks amusingly places his head on Wilson’s shoulder while the final picture shows the pair laughing together inside a car.https

“36th anniversary! April 30, 1988,” Wilson captioned the post, before quoting “Rabbi Ben Ezra” by 19th century English poet Robert Browning: “Grow old along with me; the best is yet to be.”

Hanks and Wilson first met in 1981 on the set of the ABC sitcom Bosom Buddies. At the time they met, Hanks was married to his first wife, Samantha Lewes. Hanks and Lewes — who had two kids, Colin Hanks, 46, and Elizabeth, 41, together — officially divorced in 1987.

Hanks and Wilson most recently had a date night together on April 10 at the 25th An Unforgettable Evening gala to benefit the Women’s Cancer Research Fund; the pair both serve as honorary chairs for the organization. In January, the couple posed with sons Chet and Truman at the premiere of the Apple TV+ World War II miniseries Masters of the Air, which Hanks worked on as an executive producer.
