Meghan Markle beamed widely as she accompanied Prince Harry on their four-day Colombia tour with a body language expert believing Meghan is in “confident, A-lister” mode for the trip.

Judi James believes the Duchess of Sussex oozes a celebrity-infused approach to the tour. She told the Mirror: “Meghan’s ‘Hey, I’m here!’ pose, facial expression and styling put her in full, confident A-lister mode here.

“Her eye expression registers a level of excitement, with her symmetric smile looking like a nod to a more regal approach, and her way of holding herself is celebrity-infused ‘special’ and far from casual, relatable and down-to-earth.”

The Duchess of Sussex clung onto her husband’s hand as they arrived in Bogota, the country’s capital. Looking effortlessly elegant, the mother-of-two teamed a sleeveless, buttoned, halter-neck waistcoat with matching navy, ankle-grazing trousers from designer Veronica Beard.

Assessing the confidence, the body language expert added it looks like this is a moment Meghan “has been waiting for all her life”.

Judi believes, however, there is a discord between the feelings of Meghan and her husband, as he looks to be “hesitant”.

She added: “He forms a polite smile but his expression is a little more tempered and complex. His eye expression looks almost wary which could be natural given that he is a royal without the kind of protocols and even safety nets the Firm will have when they are on proper royal tours.”

The children’s school in Bogota, the Colegio Cultura Popular, was heavily guarded with armed police and officers on motorbikes.

Harry has been vocal over his concerns about security and refuses to bring his family to the UK after his tax-payer protection was stripped following his departure to America, claiming the UK is not safe for his family.
