Abbey Clancy has revealed that she and her husband Peter Crouch ‘used to get helicopters to dinner’ on Saturday.
The model, 38, admitted that being a part of the ‘outrageous’ football scene meant that they often made ‘nutty’ decisions.
However, after their extravagant wedding in 2011 the couple have since toned down their lifestyle.
In a new interview with The Times Magazine, Abbey revealed: ‘We used to get helicopters to food tastings. When you’re in that football scene, it’s a bit outrageous and ridiculous. Your decisions are nutty.
‘We had a huge, extravagant wedding. We came into the room to Nicki Minaj. I had a little child singing in the church while playing a harp.’
She added: ‘I have no recollection of even making that decision. I had about five dresses. It was OTT. So when we renewed our vows, it was completely stripped back.’
The model and the former footballer renewed their wedding vows on a beach in the Maldives over Christmas.
Abbey revealed on The Jonathan Ross Show: ‘We wanted to renew our vows at 10 years, but we were in locdown. The kids were there.
‘We didn’t have any kids at our first wedding, so it was nice for them to be involved.
‘It was supposed to be on a certain day, but it was the World Cup Final. So, [Pete] said: ‘I’m not marrying you again on the day of the World Cup Final’. So we had to change the day.’
On his involvement in the wedding planning, Peter explained: ‘After 10 years, I wanted to do something special because she puts up with us and the kids. She runs the household, so I wanted to do something.’
The ceremony took place on December 17 in front of their four children, Abbey’s mum Karen and friends on a private island at the Anantara Dhigu Maldives Resort.
The Liverpudlian wore a stunning sheer vintage lace dress and veil made by her dressmaker friend Silvia, with the former footballer Peter saying he got ‘butterflies’ when he saw his wife walk down the aisle.
The couple first tied the knot at the Stapleford Park hotel in Leicestershire in 2011, two years after announcing their engagement.
Sophia, 11, Liberty, seven, Johnny, four, and Jack, three, were present for the ceremony, with the couple revealing their children ‘loved’ jetting off to the remote island, danced all night and rolled around in the sand.
Peter and Abbey began dating in 2006, but briefly split during the European Cup with the footballer releasing a statement at the time.
But it wasn’t long before they were back together, with the couple now parents to four children.
