PEOPLE will exclusively release the trailer for Andrea Bocelli 30: The Celebration on Wednesday, September 4.
A young child enters the stage at the beginning of the trailer and switches on a record player while a voice in the background says, “ladies and gentlemen, Andrea Bocelli.”
The trailer then includes a number of footage of Bocelli performing live, as well as celebrity appearances, including Kim Kardashian, Sofia Vergara, and Russell Crowe, as well as picturesque Italian rural vistas.
I used to ride my horses over this country when I was a boy. It’s lovely to see so many people from all around the world coming together in harmony,” Bocelli remarks.
In July 2024, Andrea Bocelli was in Italy.
In November, the movie will be distributed worldwide in theaters. It follows 65-year-old Bocelli on a three-day concert event at the Teatro del Silenzo in Lajatico, Italy. More than 30,000 people from all over the world attended the July event, which was filmed and commemorated his 30th anniversary in music.
In a press release, Bocelli stated, “It was an honor to celebrate the 30th anniversary of my career with artists and friends at Teatro del Silenzio, a place that is very dear to me.” “It is beyond my wildest dreams to be able to share this incredible event with the world in theaters.”
His children, Virginia and Matteo, joined him onstage together with Ed Sheeran, Shania Twain, Jon Batiste, Russell Crowe, Sofia Vergara, David Foster, Christian Nodal, Sofia Carson, Laura Pausini, Tiziano Ferro, Zucchero, and Giorgia.
Sam Wrench, who also directed Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour and Billie Eilish: Live at the O2, helmed the documentary.
